Step 7 – Review Process
The control measures must be regularly reviewed to verify that the systems put in place are maintaining their effectiveness. There are two aspects to this:
- Checking on the Completion Date (as recorded on the Hazard Register) that the corrective measures have been implemented by the specified date.
- Regularly reviewing whether the corrective actions continue to be effective (based on the Frequency of Monitoring recorded on the Hazard Register), particularly if a workplace change is being considered or a new hazard is identified.
